Yohei Yama's creative process resonates deeply with the essence of nature. His work  emerges as a profound dialogue between the passage of time and the universe itself. This exhibition invites us to explore not only the artist's 17 year creative journey but also the timeless, ever-renewing processes of the cosmos and nature, flowing together in the river of time. Yama’s artistic strokes pay homage to the graceful growth of trees, the gentle touch of the wind, and the delicate interplay of lines, all weaving together into a rhythmic symphony that captures the endless cycles of nature.

Since 2007, Yohei Yama has drawn boundless inspiration from his observations of the natural world, seeking ways to articulate the surge of life that surrounds us. Each work he creates resembles an unfinished chapter, in which every symbol forms a silent dialogue between him and the living tapestry of nature. The pieces showcased in this exhibition serve as footprints of his artistic journey. Far from static objects, his creations are vibrant extensions of an intricate, web-like network, capturing the flow of time. His approach to painting illuminates the organic dynamics and manifestations of nature, metaphorically reflecting the introspective and evolving physical and metaphysical processes of humankind and all species.

Through this exhibition, Yohei Yama beckons us to reconsider our understanding of these questions, from the premise that time is not merely a linear progression but a multi-dimensional process of continual generation. The meaning embedded within each artwork is reconstructed at every moment; each viewing becomes a vital link in this ongoing creation. The exhibition reveals art as both a response to and an expression of nature's power and the universe's vastness, illustrating how life is perpetually generated, extended, and reborn at the intersection of time and space.

Viewers are invited not only to appreciate the artistic beauty of these works but also to embark on a resonant, introspective, and participatory journey. This experience encourages self-analysis and reflection on their own place within the vastness of the cosmos and the transformative processes inherent in it.
