In 'Dew Drips, Smog Seeps’, Hằng seeks to emphasize the instances and spontaneity in life. The moments that seem to pass in a blink of an eye are just as important as the maintenance a single thought. The manual interaction between artist and the works appears within each dent, layering of paper and the barren bamboo roots that she collected from Cam Ranh. When all converge, ‘Dew drips, Smog seeps' reveals a liberation for her own consciousness and suggests possibilities to approach the ‘last chapter’ of one’s life. We wonder if it is the end, or does it signal a new path that is about to open?
