Contemporary artist Yiu Chi Leung conducts his creative artwork in Hong Kong. In 2015, he graduated from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) with a Bachelor degree in Fine Art, major in paintings. Yiu Chi Leung's talent is well recognized through Mr. Jerry Kwan Memorial scholarship and New Art Wave International Artist award. In 2016, Yiu Chi Leung became a Top Ten Young Talent in Hong Kong. He is also studying Master of Arts in Visual Arts, major in studio & media arts at Baptist University. His work, created based on a spectrum of media such as drawings, installation, photography, and mixed media, have been collected and displayed in various exhibitions around the world. Yiu Chi Leung's art is created mostly through drawings, installation, photography and mixed media. His creative work highlights the controversy surrounding the purpose of our living today, as well as the impact of technology on the wider society, the living culture and the environment. It also reveals the sarcasm, coldness, and emptiness in our society today. Through ground research and personal life events, his art work expresses a realistic vision of the world reflected under a mind of self-consciousness and freedom. It also exhibits his hope for the future.
